Overview

As an alternative to spreading rock salt to clear ice and snow, brine solution has fast become the choice for many councils and contractors. This popular SL-80 brine sprayer is the perfect machine for treating pedestrian walkways, footpaths and shopping precincts.

The SnowEx SL-80 is ideal to use with Wessex Thawex liquid ice melt, which is environmentally friendly, clean, easy to store and unlike granular salt it will not tread into shops, offices and houses. Many professional contractors favour the benefits of using liquid ice-melt and ThawEx, which has no chemical additives, works faster than salt.

The SnowEx brine sprayers are powered by a 12V battery and have a 50litre capacity tank with a spray nozzle that will spray from 1m up to 1.7m. There is a hand lance and flexi hose as standard to deal with awkward areas. The brine sprayers come with a battery charger and are available with the option of a stainless steel frame.
